Unique Piece
SKULL SOLDIERS is an icon of death reconstructed not from bones, but from small black soldiers, uniformed, frozen in a final alignment.
The skull and crossbones, morbid symbols of piracy or power, take on a new form here: that of a military mass, a fabric of anonymous individuals, compacted into a symbolic structure.
Entirely covered in deep black, this work denounces the great brutality of our society and the fate reserved for the human mass: that of a fatal destiny where one is an interchangeable pawn that can be sacrificed like consumable products. The soldiers are a metaphor for populations used to work in a society that ultimately has no direction... other than self-destruction.
SKULL SOLDIERS is a manifesto: a silent but accusatory sculpture, where death is no longer just an end, but a collective, mechanical, structured result of combat and war.
The skull does not look. It observes. It bears witness.
